How can I get natural allergy relief while trying to conceive or pregnancy??
Question: I have really bad allergies but I'm trying to avoid taking anything for it while trying to conceive. I also want to be able to stay away from allergy meds when I get pregnant. Does anyone have any suggestions for natually dealing with allergies?
Answers: Try putting two drops of peppermint essential oil on the back of your neck twice a day. The book, Aromatherapy A to Z by Higley and Leatham indicates that some people that have used this thearapy have been able to discontinue allergy shots. It's worked for everybody I've recommended it to, but none had symptoms bad enough to need shots.
The book also suggests this therapy in conjunction with a thymus tap . This is done very simply by taking the first two fingers of your dominant hand and tapping the bones covering the thymus (located just below the notch on your throat).
Some sources indicate that peppermint oil should not be used during pregnancy; but if you start doing this now, you may feel much better by the time you conceive.
If your skin is sensitive to the peppermint oil, dilute it with some unscented massage oil or natural cooking oil. Do not apply prior to sun exposure, and make sure not to get the essential oil in your eyes.

Here's an ebook you can try. Good luck and hope it helps
Jal Neti (a nasal wash) is good for relieving some of the allergy symptoms. It's a natural practice from yoga, which is now recommended by most ENT specialists and many MDs.
Try the nasal support formula by Eclectic. It contains freeze-dried nettles, eyebright and elder flower. An excellent remedy. If you can't find that, then try find freeze-dried Nettles (or regular if nothing else). Nettles are very safe and are extremely high in nutrients. In fact, they are included in lots of herbal formulas for women who are or want to be pregnant. Additionally, they contain a protein that binds to histamine and carries them out of the body. Many over the counter allergy remedies just mask your response to the histamines and contain stimulants. Nettles has no stimulants.
I suggest all-natural Alfalfa Complex. Alfalfa offers a wide range of nutrients: calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, chlorophyll, bioflavonoids, trace minerals, and vitamins. It's known as the father of all foods . Since the roots reach as deep as 20 feet into the soil, they bring forth minerals in their most natural form.
It has been very successful in relieving the effects of allergies in many other folks.
Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or for the website.
