Nurse salary??

Answers: At my hospital, brand new nurses start out at $22/hr
If you have experience, it will pay up to thirty or thirty two.
The highest paid is the float pool, who make up to $54.50
really depends on type of nurse. i have a friend that travels ALOT,she does mainly office stuff makes 70k....
not sure exact figure. my mom is an lvn (lpn). she has been one for 25 years. i have been in the army for 9 years and i make more money than her.
RN in the West Coast is around $35-$40 per hour. Far East Coast the same but in the far South not so high, like around $25. LVN in the West Coast is around $22-$24. Fair warning though, its a very very stressful career move! If you thrive on stress you'll do just fine. Also its very difficult to get into the pre req classes in any Junior College because everyone wants to do this because of the money. Good Luck.
Not all of the places we work can pay the big figures but the job is worth doing anyway .I make 17.43 right now and get a raise yearly. But my last job I got 18.75 but less hours and more work load. Now I'm fulltime which is another thing that is hard to find. So what ever you need to know about nurses wages please remember it's not about the money it's the job you do and how you help people. If you love a job shoveling horse poop would be ok. You know what I mean?
RN's make a good paycheck. You earn more with time and experience. Traveling nurses make great pay--they travel and live in an area for an example 6 weeks to help a hospital needing more staff. An LPN makes an OK paycheck but are referred to as Low Paid Nurses. Sorry, I didn't make that up. It is hard hard work. Sick people are at their worst and their families are, too. Think pain, blood, poop, etc. We get upset at patients who are asked to rate the hospital and they often respond by saying the food was very good as if it were a hotel.
It really just depends on where you live. Some hospitals and Doctors offices pay more than others. Also it depends on the type of expeirence you have and on what type of nurse you are. I have two nurses in my family, my mom and sister. They both make different salaries.
In Ontario Canada our starting wage for RNs are 23.00 and our usual max is 35 an hour
The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career. On the website www.findacareerhere.com there is a salary calculator that tells you salary and also gives you a job description. Hope this helps.
