I burt myself and i have a huge blister located on my finger, and wanted to know if i could safly pop it!??
Question: i got the bliste, and would like to pop it, should i, and what will happen if i do, if i shouldnt pop it what should i do to heal it quickly!

no do not pop the blister. i burned 3 of my fingers on the stove i accidentally put my fingers down on top of a hot burner. anyway one of my fingers was like really really bad and my doctor said make sure i dont pop it b/c bacteria can get in it. and cause infection. trust me the blisters wont be there 4 long. trust me i had a 2nd degree burn. and the blister went away after like 3 days. just keep ice on it so it will feel better.
You CAN safely pop the blister. Use a flame-sterilized needle, and just poke it enough to let the fluid out. If you leave it alone, sure it will pop on it's own, but it may also remove that roof of skin over it! Leave the roof of skin on there, and get some of those bandages that stay on for three days while absorbing the seepage from the wound. It's very difficult to have a blister on your finger, because we of course use our hands so much. I'm just thinking that you will probably end up ripping it completely open if you leave the fluid in there.

I recently burned the top of my thumb very badly, and had a huge blister. I took parental advice and used a sterile needle to poke the side, and let it drain. Then use Bacitracin or NEOSPORIN w/ pain relief and keep a bandage on it for a few days. Change the bandage often to keep it clean. The new skin will start to grow back in a day or so and the Neosporin will prevent scars.
yea but when the puss and stuff come out dont let it run down your hand or it will cause another 1
