Question about Qi: Answer only if you know please??
Question: throughout my day i naturally, since as long as i can remember, keep my tongue at the top of my palate always touching. is this bad? i breathe normally. would it benefit me because i naturally keep my tongue at that position to buddhist breathe throughout the day?
Answers: The point on the roof of your mouth is one of the bodies energy gates. When you have your tounge on it, one of the pathways is connected.
I know amongst other things, that telling people to do this makes them stop having lapses of concentration.
If you are planning to do this, it's fine, but you have to reach the point where you can do it without having tension in your mouth or jaw to accomplish getting the tounge there. If you cant manage that, it kinda defeats the whole point.
You said you do it naturally though, and that's completely fine and normal. Some people who are more energetically sensitive tend to do things like that.
