No it does not help with kidney stones. It can help prevent bladder infections but not kidney stones.
Probably not any more then any other juice. I think it acts as a diuretic. Makes you go more.
yea it does because there really isnt much preservatives in cranberry juice and its really good for you. absorbed by your kidneys nicely too. once a day should also keep you in tip top shape.
yes it cleans your system out and it is very good for you drink alot
It depends on the type of kidney stones. Some kind of kidney stones are made worse mostly by the foods you eat and others are hereditary.
It cant hurt to drink cranberry juice though. Its full of antioxidents!
i dont think so i know it help to drink it when you already have one. also good to drink when you have a bladder infection.
no
No, but it will clean the bladder.
I don't think it prevents kidney stones.....but I do think drinking plenty of water or cranberry juice...lots of juice or water will help prevent kidney stones, water is better because there is no sugar AND its cheaper. The reason lots of fluids is recommended if your susceptible to kidney stones is because the fluids keep the kidneys flushed so calcium doesn't build up and forms into kidney stones.
It help reduce the likely hood in that it has a natural germ killer in it and if you drink enough , it keeps you kidneys flushed and the more hydrated you are, the less likely you are to get kidney stones, So drink water also.
Well, it is definitely possible, Cranberry juice naturally has anti-oxidants and it also contains acidic compounds that may help break down stones (Such as citric acid, to name one). Although in some people it may help , do not start drinking gallons of cranberry juice to help yourself. The best way to prevent kidney stones, is to eat healthy. It also depends on the type of stone, some are from too much calcium, others are from eating too much meat, fish, and poultry. But the best, and I mean BEST preventative measure, is to drink 3 liters of water per day, you want to get to the point where your urine is almost clean. Water does the body good, and the bladder even better.
I have read that there is no conclusive evidence to support this. CJ has antiseptic properties that may (may!) help prevent UTI's, but stones are something else altogether.
What has been proven is that drinking plenty of water or other liquids (juice or lemonade is fine as well, but pure water is best) is really the only thing that will prevent stones - in most cases. But even hydrated people get them!
I've never heard of that, but black cherry juice is well known for the prevention of kidney stones. My dad and uncle have had kidney stones for 25 or 30 years, but have had good luck preventing them when they drink it regularly. They have the kind of stones that are associated w/ gout. It seems to help w/ the gout symptoms also.
