Marijuana in a vaporizer??
Question: Just curious......how do you do it and how does it work?
Answers: You need a special kind of vaporizer...I know somebody who has one, and it's called the Volcano . It comes with a type of bag that attaches to the machine. You put in the pot, and turn it on...It fills up the bag, and then you inhale what's in the bag.
I understand this is better for you, as you don't actually inhale any smoke - no ash or other chemicals. Also, as I understand it, this utilizes all of the pot, including stems.
Wow, I don't know but don't tell my husband....he'll sleep with it every night! Lol! I hope someone knows because now I am curious.

Someone showed me however I was not interested in learning. The cheapest one I found was over $200 bucks! Who has that kind of money?
my roomate has the Volcano. it set him back $500. supposedly you get more high out of your weed without the harmful carcinogens that are associated with direct inhalation. sounds like hippy talk to me, but it does work. it's a clean inhale. less harsh that taking a direct hit.
the vaporizer works by heating your herb at a high temp but not high enough to create ash. the resulting exhaust is trapped in a collection balloon. when the desired amount of smoke is collected, you remove the balloon and puff away.
ive only had experience w/ the Valcano vaporizer.
Don't confuse a Smoking Vaporizer with a humidifier. You can make a makeshift vaporizer with a clear light bulb or some test tubes but I'd recommend getting a more expensive version. Volcano model is top notch but there are other options. Visit your local headshop and you'll get loads of information and wont have to worry about receiving a damaged product from over the internet or have to pay rediculous shipping/handleing fees. Basically what it does is electronaly heat the cannabis to the level where the THC turns into vapor and you can inhale the thc without any of hte tar or carbon or anything. It works for tobacco too, its a very safe alternative to smoking.
Also a good thing to do that is somewhat similar is to cut a 2 liter bottle in half, take the top of it with the lid off and hold it. Actually a 1 liter bottle works a bit better but for whatever reason most people i know use a 2 liter. I guess its just preference. Have a friend present and heat up two old butter knives. Once they are hot, place small peices of kind bud on the counter. Take a hot knife and press the blade's wide side(not like your cutting it) on the nug, it should attach itself to the hot blade and then you sandwich it between the two knives and very slowly rotate them. Be sure to have the bottom of the 2liter bottle over the knives so when the cannabis starts to smoke your there to trap it inside the 2 liter bottle and inhale it. This method works wonderfully and efficiently. Once you guys get the hang of the motions and how long it takes for the knives to get hot you'll beable to do it really fast and before you know it you'll be blazed. Its called Hot Knives, or Knife hits.
