Why is inhaling lavender oil the best way of using it??
Answers: There are many ways to apply the essential oil of lavender; inhaling it is not necessarily the BEST way of using it. It just depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
When patients are traveling, I have them take a spray of lavender to use as an anti-viral and they are able to avoid becoming ill due to the recycled air on airplanes.
Some patients who have trouble sleeping benefit from a warm bath with lavender oil to help them calm down before bedtime.
the scent is calming. you can do anything with the oil itself tho, you'll get the scent no matter what. some people even put a few drops in the laudry so that bed sheets will have the scent and help you fall asleep.
Lavender oil can be applied directly on zits to dry them up. You would be amazed at the difference in the morning.
