You can't get rid of pink eye without going to see a doctor, especially if it is caused by a bacteria.
about 66% of all pink eye is viral and goes away on it's own as long as you keep your hands clean and don't rub your eyes. also change pillow cases everyday and wash your face 2-3 times a day.. if you know a breast feeding mom you can put mothers milk in your eyes.. for some reason it has the anti bodies in it that kill the pink eye virus.. my kids had it.. never took them to the doc and followed all the instructions that i just told you and it went away in 4 days.. if it doesn't even after following all instructions then you should see the doc but i wouldn't worry too much
