Calling all crunchy granola Mamas??

Question: If one is avoiding using antiperspirant because of the heavy metals in them, what do you use in order not to stank. I've been using regular perfume and it seems to work okay, but I'm guessing there is a better, more natural alternative.
Answers: I agree w/ other poster. As long as you shower every morning and don't work out in the sun all day, just a plain deodorant will probably work pretty well.

If I remember, Andrew Weil used to recommend splashing a little rubbing alcohol to kill germs and of course there are those salt stones that you find in the health food store. But be careful, a lot of those salt deodorants have aluminum in them even if they don't tell you.
Use deodarant without anti persperent There are plenty of natural deoderants out there without antiperperants
use a natural crystal deodorant stone
A solid stick of natural mineral salts and ammonium alum, completely free of perfumes and chemicals. It leaves an invisible protective barrier against odor-causing bacteria, and is guaranteed to last over a year of daily use.
