What water is best for drinking? Reverse Osmosis or Deionized Water? Are they both fluoride free??

Question: I usually drink steam distilled water but recently I've started tasting the plastic that leeches from the bottle. My only other alternative is the machine at the organic store that only offers reverse osmosis and deonized water. Which is the purest, the best for you and are both free of fluoride?
Answers:  Best is a really relative term when it comes to ingested items, primarily because different people have different preferences and experiences (which is why so many options exist).

Anything that's pure water is good, but there are a lot of minerals that you also need that typically comes from water... like the Fluoride. Fluoride is actually added to tap water because most people don't get enough and it is required for the health of your teeth. If you are drinking pure water, you'll want to make sure you get enough of your trace minerals, and you may need to use a Fluoride rinse as well to keep your teeth healthy.
You want to know what is best for ME.. ? How sweet ☺
I don't give it a second thought.
Any water I take in is osmosed by my digestive tract.
Good stuff like fluoride and other disolved minerals and chemical elements are used or become po.. pe
For sure I will not stress about anything a simple as water.
I do use caution if it stinks or is bad,, but not in my city..
Fluoride is added to our water so that we won't live long enough to collect social security. It's a deadly poison. Chlorine has the same effect on us as it does the bacteria it is intended to kill. Never trust the government. They're trying to shorten our lives to balance the budget.

Sorry, I got on a rant. I drink natural spring water only. I have it tested for chemicals before I use a certain brand. I drink only Zephyrhills Spring Water.
the best and purest is distilled water.none of the filters are 100% effective.waste of $$$$
Both of them are fluoride free.
I kinda said this in the answer to your other question, but your best bet is an RO system, possibly with some other stuff attached before it (ie a dionizer and a carbon block filter).

When water loses all its minerals, it becomes hungry and leaches them out of other stuff (ie. the plastic you could taste), this is why distilled water without anything added back in...is actually bad for your health.

Neither water is complely fluoride free, but I personally believe RO is the best currently available option. (if you are paranoid however, you can soak activated alumina in the water and then take it out, since that stuff gobbles up flouride).
Here's another option
