Question: What medicine from Tyloneol or Advil is better for a headace? For a 12 year old girl?
Answers: Tylenol works strictly on pain relief
Advil is an anti-inflammatory
Which means for regular pain tylenol will do the job,but if the headache is from the flu and her muscles ache also,then the advil would be better,because it will reduce the swelling causing the headache and aching muscles and help with the pain. But, if you are the 12 yr old,then you should talk to a parent first before you take any medicine
Either one is ok for a general headache although Advil aka ibuprofen is a bit stronger pain medication.
As long as you get the one for kids, it shouldn't matter. Also you can try both, of course one at a time and see what works better for your kid.
