Does anyone know??
Question: Hi,does anyone know if it hurts having an old filling taken out to clean up underneath it and then having a new one put back in?i got to go for this done at 11.15 today and im shi****g myself as i have never had this done before.....
Answers: Honestly, it feels like a reg filling. I've had all 4 fillings redone in one sitting cuz I don't like the silver ones I had. You'll get numbed up too so you won't feel a thing. I just felt kinda tired from having my mouth opened for so long but just ask for breaks if you feel the same. Nothing to it. =) Good luck!
pmsl!!
well to be honest it probably does hurt because it hurts when u have a filling put in dont it?! good luck
and im sure u will be fine xx
No. it's fine - just like any other filling...a bit uncomfortable, but then any dental work is.
the same has u had a filling the first time only u know what to expect,if you can relax it will not be bad, good luck!
oh my God, my gob is full of em!!.
You will have a couple of injections into the gum (which doesn't hurt too much) and then you should only feel them poking and prodding.
The noise of the drill is worse for me but just blank it out, you do get used to it after a few minutes.
Carefully afterwards as your mouth will be numb so NO hot drinks, Honestly it will burn you.
Good luck and if you are really brave I will get you a fire engine. Lol
Well it dont hurt to have a filling put in so I doubt it's going to hurt to have it pulled out an filled in again. Dont worry, although I should practice what I preach.
It will hurt but you will be getting something to help you to feel less pain. But if you have already taken out the nerve it will be easy if not you will feel a bit of pain don't want to scare you but it the truth, been in dentistry for 3yrs.
Yes it should be a bit tender for a day or so.. If its still sore in a few days call your dentist.
