My 6 year old daughter's new molars are coming through with white specks on them... does anyone know why??

Question: All four molars are coming through the gums now but they are white with whiter specks on them. Could it be a deficiency? I want to get to the bottom of it before all her adult teeth come through like this!

Many thanks!
Answers: May be too much calcium. If the tooth appears to be transparent, however, it may be a calcium deficiency. Add a little more info. does your child drink a lot of milk or take in a lot of dairy products?

i am here to help.
My children's teeth did the same thing, but it went away after awhile.
i would ask the dentist to be sure that it is normal, just to prevent anything that might be something that should be seen.
Those white specks are called Calcium Deposits. It's where the child is lacking calcium and sources of it are stored in their teeth.. Start drinkin some milk!
I have heard that this is due to too much floride or inconsistant appication of flouride
It does not appear to be a deficiency and in fact my kids had it for a while too . The specks disappeared after a few weeks.
If you're not assured please see your dentist.
