How long do canker sores usually last without treatment??
Answers: 3 days. If you want to get rid of it right away pour salt on it and it will hurt like hell, but it will go away faster.
Weeks...... but after about the first week, the pain will start to fade. Just be careful not to bite it again or it will come back worse than before
It usually depends on where it is. In your mouth, I would say about a week, but sometimes people heal quicker and it could heal in about 3-4 days or so.
i just had a canker, and i found it really helped to get salt, and pour it into water, then stir it until it is close to being dissolved, then wash / rinse your mouth with it. do not swallow! do this twice a day and the pain will soon go away.
about a week or less. Swish around with a glass of salt and warm water.
Canker sores typically last up to 14 days with out any treatment. But may not take that long to heal up. If they last longer than 14 days you need to see a dentist immediately, because it may not be a canker sore. Canker sores heal on their own, but cancerous lesions do not. Make sure that if you have a mouth sore, that you watch it carefully and note any changes, and the exact location in the mouth. Salt water or Peroxyl will help it to heal faster, there are also oral medications you can take to help prevent them. If you chose to not treat the wound, make sure you keep an eye on it! :)
