Why don't my electric toothbrush last more than 20 seconds??

Question: Ive recently brought myself a oral b braun vitality toothbrush and after charging it for 16 hours (as it says) i turn it on and brush my teeth as usual but after around 20 seconds it just goes dead and i have to re-charge so 2nd attempt and it does it again, i send it back get another so it does the same, i buy a different VItality Oral B toothbrush and it does the same.

Brought from: Argos (UK)

I brought 5 of these and none have worked , my friend brought the same from exactly the same stored and theirs worked??
Answers: Check the power output in your home for surges. Try charging the thing in a different wall outlet then the last one. (ie. if you charged it in the bathroom outlet, use the bedroom or kitchen outlet this time). Other than that the store is giving you bad merchandise or the Leprechauns are acting up again.
maybe it's bad luck?!
Some electric tooth brushes have a pressure switch. If you brush to vigerously it shuts off. Try using light pressure next time.
