Since teeth are bones, why don't other bones need to be brushed for maintenance and to prevent decay??
Question: Not that brushing other bones would be possible:-D
Answers: Teeth are exposed to the bacteria that can grow from food and oxygen which can promote decay. Your skelton is exposed to neither.
You ought to try that.
they do with calcium and vitamin D
because other bones are not exposed to the same environment as your teeth.
teeth is enamel, not bone.
scientifcally i dont know.. but simply thinking.. ur bones dont really get exposed to as many different things your teeth do.. when you eat or simply open your mouth.
if u like cut the skin & brush . have some sense only mad can ask such a question
Other bones dont come incontact with the outside world 24/7 and arnt used to chop up food and drink which contains alot of bacteria and can also create plaque and so on. Teeth are also alot weaker (I think)
Because they aren't exposed to the elements like pop or candy... nor do they harbor bacteria that grow and produce acid like compounds that eat away at the surface... Nasty.
If your bones stick out they should be brushed to keep them bright and shiny, nmot with tooth paste but with bone meal
as the other guy said! your tooth is the only bone subject to direct fotreign contact at a daily basis!!and so it require maintenance!
SO DON'T FORGET TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH TONIGHT!!
For one bones don’t do any eating and the other thing is that the bones are covered in flesh so stay protected.
you have a lot of bacteria in your mouth that produces acid which eats away at your teeth, and your bones dont. you brush to get rid of the plaque, sugars, bacteria and other crude on your teeth, obviously your bones stay clean.
as far as i know teeth are NOT bones... they are considered as a special tissue of the body... they are found inside the mouth and used for chewing food. so some debris are left for bacteria to grow... thus tooth decay results....
becouse you don't eat with other bones duh!
Your teeth is part of the bone to be exposed to all kinds of bacteria unlike your other bones which is protected by your flesh. That is why you need to brush! =)
what ever gave you the idea that teeth are bones?
teeth has enamel and bones don't.
bones dont eat,, =) we masticate foods using our teeth & if we dont brush it we get tooth decay bec. foods spoiled where all the bacterias & microorganism grows
You don't eat everday with those bones.
now!now!now! this is the most stupidiest question ive ever read! hehehe
Because you don't use your other bones to eat. When teeth decaty its because the food or plaqe on the teeth is decaying which causes the teeth to decay. If we eat with other bones we would brush them. But we don't eat with re leg or arm bones. hence us not haveing to brush them.
