How can i prevent/stop clenching my teeth??

Question: i dont grind them... i think its got alot to do with a medication ive been taking for years but its been around a month that its been happening..its mostly when im sleeping, sometimes i catch myself doing it during the day...

i want to avoid taking a med for it..if there is one... but how can i stop myself from doing it?, i dont want my teeth to fall out
Answers: You most likely need to go to your dentist, and see what he/she says... you may need a retainer to help the clenching. Or you may be stressed out. I too find myself clenching for no apparent reason... but you should talk to your dental practitioner about this. If it's only been happening for a month, it may just be stress.
u shld go get urself a MCI or splint..it ssoemting lik a mouth guard used when u r sleeping...
Get a cheap mouthguard at the drugstore. Or go to the dentist to have one specially molded to ur teeth. Grinding can cause ur teeth to wear down/chip/move. Good luck!
