How do you know if one of your braces is broken??

Question: mine one front tooth hurts a little and the brace sticks out just a little further than the other but it doesnt seem to be loose
Answers: To me it sounds like your teeth are trying to move and it has caused it to be pushed forward along with the tooth and made the tooth a little loose. To make sure make sure an elastic (o-ring) is not off and that the wire is not coming out if an elastic (o-ring) is off. Also make sure that the wire in the back of your mouth is not off of the last one this recently happened to me they did not put it in right and the wire slipped off of my back tooth and was poking a hole in the other side of my mouth it was about an inch long that had moved from the right side to the left side. Make sure and call your dentist if you get more concerned.
shake it a little. wiggle it back and forth. but remember, throughout your orthodontic procedure, your teeth have to be loose at times so your teeth can move into place. maybe your teeth is just sticking out a little. call your orthodontist.
why don't you have a check up with the orthodontist?
usually the braces don't just halfway come off the tooth, they just fall off. maybe one of your rubber bands is coming loose. To me it sounds like one of your teeth is moving forward, that would explain why the braket is higher up than the others and your tooth hurts.
