Does my tongue ring affect my teeth??
Question: just wondering
Answers: yes, it can wear them down or even cause chips.....
ya it can effect your teeth if you bite on it and run it all over your teeth all the time. I have had my tongue pierced since I was 15 (I'm 24 now) and I have no damage to my teeth from having my tongue pierced.
I've actually heard that it's very bad for your teeth. I think mostly because people have a tendancy to play with the ring. If you do play with your ring, it will probably chip your teeth and such. And I'm sure the metal's not very good for it either. Most people really don't care though. It's the same with lip rings. If it's allready pierced, why bother taking it out yet, right? ^.^
Yes it does. Tongue rings can cause damage to tooth enamel, damage to fillings, and can become infected which can lead to diseases of the gums.Get a nosering or an earring instead
Yes, it can ruin your enmanel and problems can spring up from that. My dentist also said infections can be caught easier.
very big yes! not only your teeth can damage it but also some habits may cause you to do,like playing it all over around your mouth and your speech too maybe affected later on..you may not notice it this time but then later on you will suffer for all the consequences..so i advise you to get rid of that thing,it's not a good fashion or to make you in into your gigs..right!
I don't know. I do not have a tongue ring...never will!
Dont know, but I think it has an affect on your brain. It tells me
that you are insecure and immature and are trying to get attention from this foolishness instead of doing something
constructive to get the admiration that you really want.
It will affect your teeth and gums, and also your tongue. Your mouth is a haven for some pretty nasty bacteria and if you jar that ring the wrong way and rip your tongue you have just let in some bacteria that can cause heart problems if it gets into your blood and makes it to your heart. If you bite it by mistake you can crack a tooth and end up having a root canal or having it pulled, basically if you like donating money to your dentist's vacation fund...keep it in..if you like your teeth, and your money spit it out.
YES!! I had almost perfect teeth before the tounge ring. After knocking it against my bottom teeth for a while they began to shift and now I have a gap in my bottom teeth.
I've since taken it out. I can't stand the gap so now I am saving to get braces.
Hope this helps,
B
