My tooth..???
Question: part of it is starting to come off....whats goin on?

The tooth seems to be trying to decay. I suggest you see a dentist before it creates some BIG problems for you.

You either fractured it and it is breaking away or you have decay under it and it is breaking away.
Either way you need to go to the dentist.

You probably fractured it a long time ago. Then decay started to work on it from the inside. It weakened and part of it broke off.
This happened to me. I never felt any acute pain, because as the decay grew, it killed the nerve inside the tooth. I had no Idea I had a problem until I was driving and suddenly spit part of the tooth out. Half the crown remained standing, and broke off later on.
If you get to a dentist soon, you may be able to save the tooth with a filling. If you wait, it'll be a root canal or an extraction. I also know this from experience...
