I have chipped my top front tooth, can it be fixed? And how??
Answers: yes, and beautifully. depending on the size it could be done with a new paint on stuff they have. Or, if a lot of the tooth is missing a porcelain crown might be necessary. I lost half of my front tooth twice. Once when I was a kid but the tooth grew out and the broken part just wore off. The second time required some work so the first time they did the paint on stuff which is great but later I had to have it crowned.
If you still have some spare teeth, pull that one out and a new one will grow. Otherwise the solution is to get an operation.
crazy glue?
you can go to the dentist and they can clean it and put some kind
of cap which would be natural color with your teeth. they have many ways of fixing chipped teeth these days.
you'll need to see a dentist. do it ASAP...
my sister did that when she was a kid. running on a slippery floor with socks on. silly girl.... tsk tsk tsk
but yeah, don't let it go un-treated. see a dentist! good luck!:)
They can be fixed what happens is they will put a cap on it and it will look good as new
Yes, it can be fixed...the dentist can do magic!
The damage needs to be assessed by a dentist. It all depends on how big a chip there is. They may recommend a bonded fill, a filing, or nothing at all.
go to dentist he/she can repair it
It happened to me, the NHS Dentist did a good jod of match and fill £16.00 ish.
you'll need a crowm putting on it
yes the dentist will put a cap on it
go to the doctor dont get scared their to help u
A dentist can repair your tooth.
if ure not happy with having the chip replaced showing a faint hairline crack, then you could opt for a vaneer, which is like a fake tooth placed on top of ure own, its what all the stars do, mind u it would be expensive to have the full set done, but a single tooth on its own would cost about £360, talk to ure dentist and see what he recommends !!
good luck
YES! GO TO A DENTIST. IF FINANCES ARE PROBLEM,CHECK OUT YOUR COMMUNITY RURAL HEALTH CLINIC.THEY CAN HEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THIS AGENCY,CALL YOUR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. GOOD LUCK
You could have a composite filling put there ( white filling ) which can be done on the NHS. But as its your front tooth and you use them to bite into things you have to be careful once the filling is placed.
most of your answers have suggested seeing the dentist. my daughter chipped her tooth as a child i took her to the dentist and he said unless it is troubling her leave it alone. She is now 26 still with a chipped front tooth. So it depends on how bad the chip is and then if it needs it it can be capped. i would like to now how long ago that person was charged 16pound. My daughter paid 30 for a check up NHS
Go to the dentist, I would think you could get it fixed.
