I forget to brush my teeth 2 times, will they be ok??
Question: I forget to brush my teeth before I go to sleep, but then I wake up
and I brush them as soon as I wake up..
But I am angry that I do this, and it worries me because I want my
teeth to be ok and healthy. My teeth are healthy, but the thing is I want to do this for myself, for my mind, I want to feel ok..I dont want to be having worries about this.
I just want to know, are my teeth just like in so much big trouble?
Is there anybody else that has this problem, that just forgets to brush once a day, and their teeth are ok still?
Please give experiences..
And advices, like how do I remember to brush before I sleep?
I need some help please..
Thanks..
Answers: yes
I knew someone who forgot to brush his teeth one day - 20 years later he was hit by a car...
As long as you're brushing your teeth the next morning, they should be okay.
Add brushing your teeth to your bedtime routine.
One idea:
Put your toothbrush on top of your PJs so that you'll be sure to remember to brush your teeth before you go to sleep.
I know, I'm just like that too. When I was younger, I wore braces and ever since I promised myself (and the dentist) I'd take good care of my teeth. At times I do forget to brush (I'm not gonna lie), but it just happens. You can't beat yourself over it. Something I like to do is keep floss handy, just in case I can't brush AT LEAST I can floss. I also use mouthwash.
You might want to stick a toothbrush in your drawer at work or carry it in your backpack to school. I know it might sound weird, but if that's what's gonna make you at ease, so be it.
Take care!
i have the same problem but with braces and i have to brush after every meal i have! just to let you know I DON'T BRUSH MY TEETH AFTER EVERY MEAL!!!!! i also don't brush my teeth evrery night of course no i forget all the time.then i don't do it in the morning either and my teeth are fine. but if you really want to remember put a sticker on your bed room door so you see it before you go to bed , or also on the batheroom door and yes thy will be okay if you brush them as soon as you wake up
where i'm from we brush our teeth 3 times a day or more. lot's of illnesses come from bad hygiene and iven if you feel good now , it's best to take care of you from now to prevent any problems in the future. some problems that can occur bad breath, gum disease, dry mouth Your gums bleed easily.
Your gums are very red, tender and / or swollen.
You can see pus in between your teeth and gums when they are pressed.
Your gums seem to be pulling away from your teeth.
You have chronic bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth.
You notice a change in your bite or in the way your teeth fit together.
Your teeth are loose or they are separating.
The fit of your partial dentures has changed.
so put a post it on your pillow to remind you to brush before bed at least
I am in dental hygiene school, and I learned that as long as you clean your teeth thoroughly (but they have to be clean-you must floss, too) that you can probably avoid cavities, unless you are very prone to them.
