I need to get into the dentist??
Question: my wisdom teeth are hurting me.. but the dentist said i cant get in until april 12th. so do i actually have to wait? or is there something i can do to make them see that it hurts alot! and my mom said i cant get them removed until the dentist refers me~ help!
Answers: Ask for an emergency appointment - tell the receptionist (or get mum to) that the pain is really bad (that you are close to tears), try to get the sympathy vote.
If that fails, check if you have a teaching hospital in the area that dose dentistry, they in many countries hold clinics (first come first seen up to a set quota) and will see you, they may even whip the teeth out there and then. I had a wisdom tooth removed my by dentist in Sept, he gave me the injection as if I was having a filling then just pulled it out. I had no pain afterwards.
Do take regular pain killers, Ibuprofen is good as it helps reduce the swelling, if you still have pain try paracetamol as well, But don't take more than the recommended doses.
i can¨t believe this. what country re u from? there should be some clinique on duty or a doctor on duty where u can go if u have severe tooth ache. if it is during normal working hours it should be normal price. meanwhile take ibuprofen , it helps with tooth ache
if you been a patient of this dentist for a while s/he should be able to see you on emergency bases. Does not take them more than 10 min to look at the x-ray and write down the referral to the oral surgeon. And they can give you a pain killer.
