Orthodontic treatment??
Question: is orthodontic treatment recommended on physically disabled persons?anyone with experience on this topic?
Answers: I work as an Orthodontic Assistant and we have a few patients that are physically disabled. We find that it helps if just one person works on these patients at all times...as they get comfortable with this person.
Not usally unless the parent consents it. I would not recommend it!
Why wouldn't it be? Orthodontia is usually to correct either a bite problem, or for an esteem issue.... Disabled persons could have both of those too
depends
