How do I get rid of a canker/kanker sore? Thats on the inside of your mouth.??
Answers: Make a swish and swallow solution from equal parts Benadryl liquid and Maalox liquid. Swish it around in your mouth then spit it out three times a day until the sore is gone. Make sure that your mouth stays clean by brushing and rinsing after meals or snacks so as not to irritate the tissues.
Rinse your mouth with peroxide 3 times a day.
Oh, those suck. I think they should invent a medicine that helps it go away. Unfortunately, I don't know of one. Keep it clean AS SOON as you feel one coming on by cleansing it with hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip. Use orajel or some other pain relief gel intended for mouth or tooth aches to numb the pain. My doctor said to take B6 vitamins, and my dad said to eat raisins, but I haven't really gotten results from either of those. Best of luck!
I get those occasionally and all I do is rinse my mouth with Listerine. It will burn like hell, but it does work. Other than that, you will have to wait for it to go away which may take over a week.
Try rinsing with Dr. Tichenors (stings but works fast) and to help with the pain try an over counter med. like zilactin or similar to numb it like oragel also.

I had a bad one for like 2 weeks and no otc meds worked. My husband said to use Alum, you can buy it in the spice aisle..it's used in pickling. Put a dab on your finger and press it into the sore. It will burn like the devil, but after a couple of minutes you can rinse. Mine was gone 2 days later. Amazing! It's cheap and worth a try!
