Keep getting abscesses in my mouth for the past year can this make me feel run down and chesty??
Question: since i broke my tooth in october 05, i keep getting infection through abcesses. ive only just recently seen a dentist and this friday im having the tooth out. but i just wondered if this could make feel like i have a cold and a bad chest and to be quite phleghmy. as thaving an abcess is an infection.
Answers: Yes, having an abcess will wear you down. You will be tired cause your body is fighting an infection, and since you blew it off for a year or two, your body will wear down and be open to more colds and sickness. When its out, you will have more energy and probably won't get sick as often.
You bet! You will notice a difference in how you feel as soon as the tooth is out. It's hard to eat properly when you have a bad tooth. Try rinsing your mouth with a weak solution of peroxide and warm water twice a day from here on. about a cap full to 4 ounces of water. Just rinse and spit out- do not swallow.
you may have an infection as well as a broken tooth which can lead to canker sores. your immune system is run down because of infection and because of this you may have caught the cold and developed a chest infection and canker sores but the cold and chest infection did not occur because of canker sores, never heard of it anyways. it just because your immune system low.
