Orthdontists/Dentists/Or people with braces? Please read&answer!??

Question: I just got braces on Wednesday. I have noticed all my teeth are sore, and I know that is normal, but my one front tooth is way more sore & sensitive that the other! Is this normal? Is it also normal to not be able to bite into barely anything? I could carely bite into a (very soft) donut today! Ibprofen doesnt help...got any other ideas to help the pain? My teeth are really sore!
Answers: Well its normal because your Gums get loose to help the teeth get into its right place. I had my four wisdom teeth and four other teeth pulled out before i got braces. I ate soup. Try eating things that are hot like soup because that will losen up the braces. Thats what my Orthdontists told me. Dont bite anything hard. If your Gums are swollen then Brush twice and use listeren twice a day. Hope things work out well. Good luck.
Yes it is very normal your teeth will hurt for about 1 week. I had soup and other soft food.
yeah its normal it happened to me you get comfortable with it after a few weeks
your teeth will hurt for about two weeks
Yes that is normal. You might want to stick to liquids or very very soft foods until the soreness goes away. I can remember when I first got my braces on all I ate was yogart, soup, and mashed potatoes. Hope that helped at all.
Yes, it is normal. One tooth may be moving faster than the others, or have more force being exerted on it right now, which is normal and safe - eventually your teeth will be in their proper places and the gums will strengthen around them again, reducing the pain.

For the moment, if ibuprofen doesn't work, you may be able to find other ways to reduce the pain - cold liquids/applesauce may make the area numb, or may make it hurt more, depending on I-don't-know-what.

Also, and I mean this seriously and not as an insult, but trying to condition yourself to deal with the pain (not ignore it, that's hard and doesn't work in my experience) can make you stronger for the future, and eventually you'll be able to manage it without caring. Everyone has a different limit to how high of a pain tolerance they can reach, but I'm sure that with some willpower you can strengthen your resolve and make it through.
yupp its normal dont worry you'll be okay in like a week or 2 i couldnt bite into a munchkin lol dont worri
