Strange bump??

Question: I keep getting this weird bump on the inside of my lower lip. It looks sort of like a small blister, it doesnt get very big, and after about a day it pops without really any pain. Then about a week later it will come back in the same spot. I dont have them anywhere else in my mouth. I looked up canker and cold sores and even oral cancer and it didnt seem to be any of those. Its getting kinda annoying, does anybody have any clue what it could be?
Answers: it sounds like a mucocele, which is essentially a blocked salivary duct. if it continues to recur you will probably get referred to an oral surgeon for excision. its mostly likely no big deal, they may biopsy it just to rule out anything. are you young? a mucocele is more common in young people, and mostly common on the inside of the lower lip as yours states.
no sorry could not help you .. may be you should see doctor
My daughter started out like that. Now they get so bad she can't even eat. Now they're saying she might have Lupus. So if you have good insurance, you need to have the blood work done to, if nothing else, to rule out that's what it is. I'm not trying to scare you, just open your eyes to a possibility. Good luck. I'll say a prayer for you..
Perhaps a clogged saliva gland. Call your dentist office & tell them about it.
