I have an expander!??
Question: i got an expander in and it hurts real bad when my mom tightens it and she is thinking about asking my nurse if we can do it once a week instead of two but i wil have to have it in longer should i take it 2 times a week or have it in longer.
Answers: do it quicker you're already sick of it, why prolong it?

My daughter just had an expander put on a few days ago.. Unfortunately, My mom took her and I am unsure about how to crank it. When i do she says she feels nothing and i know she was told it would be uncomfortable. If you could explain how to do it so I am doing it properly i would greatly appreciate it!
You need to follow the directions they gave you at the office... any questions, call them right away.
To the person who said their daughter isn't feeling it... that doesn't mean you are doing it wrong, maybe she's just lucky!
You insert the key and turn it to the back of the mouth until you can see the next hole, then take the key out.... don't bring the keyhole back to the front of the mouth though, take the key out while it's in the back position....
Again, any doubts, call the office and go back in for your instructions.
