Should i brush my teeth before of after my breakfast??
Answers: Well there are 2 arguments for this the first one being before - which I personally think is a better idea, as when we eat or drink (anything other than plain water - and not fizzy at that) the pH level in our mouths becomes acidic, below a critical threshold of 5.5, within 5 minutes of this ingestion, so therefore if you then brush your teeth afterwards, the likelihood is that your brushing them in lactic acid produced by the bacteria in the mouth, so I would go for before personally. The second one being after due to the alteration in taste but I think I'd be prepared to sacrifice a little bit of taste of the toothpaste for the general health of my enamel. PS I also think that is your mouth feels fresh you'll enjoy your meal more and taste more instead of it feeling like the bottom of a flip flop..... :o)
Ideally after every meal!!!
After. It tastes better and you get the bits and pieces of breakfast out of your teeth before you start the day.
After b/c if u have orange juice...it will be disguisting
you should do anything to make yourself look and feel better, because you are killing me.
Before is best. Chew some gum after.
depends what you are having for breakfast toothpaste and fruits disgusting
after!
In the morning, you should brush your teeth as soon as you wake up to get the plaque off from the night time. Then after you eat your breakfast you should brush again to get the food out. As someone already stated, brushing your teeth after every meal is rule of thumb...
Before and after.
Geez! Do you really want to eat that green stuff on your teeth.
And, where the hell were your teeth last night?
after
you should always brush your teeth. But do it after breakast and after every snack and meal.
At night before you go to bed and first thing in the morning when you wake up - how can you eat or drink anything when your mouth feels and smells the way it does in the morning.
You could if you wanted brush again later aswell.
after, your breakfast will taste funny if you do it before
both
Before breakfast, while you sleep bacteria develops in the mouth. So you need to brush before, so the bacteria doesn't transmit to your food.
And if you do brush you teeth after a meal make sure it's 20Min's after you have eaten as this is how long it take for the acid to develop. Doing before hand will just be a waste of time as it won't do a thing for your teeth.
I read an article a couple of months ago that said new research shows (imagine they changed their minds again) it's best to brush before meals or wait awhile after to brush. The reasoning makes a lot of sense -- it's because foods, especially acidy foods like OJ can soften your tooth enamel. Brushing right away causes you to brush enamel away.
I always brush mine after breakfast
Before and after.
after
before and after is best, but if you eat fruit for breakfast you need to wait at least 20 mins before brushing because of the acid.
Brush then after every meal because what is the point if you brush them after you are done eating.
After!
