What type of corses in college do you need to take to become an orthodontist??
Question: Majors? Classes? Etc...
Answers: First, you have to have a four year degree from a university. Then you have to go to dental school. And after dental school, then you can specialize in orthodontics. The site below is the American Dental Association's website, and it lists dental schools in each state with a link to the school's website. Each dental school has different requirements. I know a huge part of the cirriculum is science courses. I think if you major in something like chemistry or biology then you would be taking the required courses. You also have to take the DAT (I think that's what it's called) to be accepted into dental school. Good luck.
