Are invisilign braces just as good as regular braces? how much did your cost??
Answers: no they arent, regular braces do the job in like 1/8th the time, so u end up spending so much money on the invisigln, my advice is to go to a dentist and just do the normal thing, less time, job done :)
they are the same if anything worse.
they cost $800 more to make food more visible in your teeth
Just go with regular braces like the rest of us! LOL. =)
my friends invisilign braces kepy gettin yellow so she would hav 2 replace them like evry month. regular braces r better 2 hav.
OMG! I can't believe how much bogus information is out there about this product.
I've been a consultant to many dental offices - some do and some don't do Invisalign.
First off: Invisalign is highly effective in 90% of patients to correct mild to severe cases.
Next: in most cases, a general dentist charges WAY less to do Invisalign than regular metal brackets.
Also: you don't eat with the aligners in your mouth, so there should be no discoloration, and if there is, following instructions as to cleaning should take care of it.
The aligners are invisable, almost pain-free, and take less time than metal.
Why not go wireless? At least talk to a real dentist about Invisalign and stop taking advice from people who don't know squat!
If you have good oral hygiene they won't turn yellow and they are meant to be changed once a month (or more) so those arguments against them are ridiculous. I have had them for like 7 months and i have one month left. Mine cost $5000 and regular braces were going to cost the EXACT same and take longer. My dentist did say that this was because I am 20 and have an adult mouth. He said that invisalign is often cheaper and quicker for adults but not children or teens. It is defiantly an option to explore with your orthodontist…
