Is gingivitus contagious??

Answers: No it's not. Brush and floss.
I don't think typical gingivitis is contagious, but if it is the form called trench mouth that is.
not usually
no not at all. its because you don't brush your teeth good.
no
No - you develop gingivitis rather than catch it.

I wouldn't fancy kissing anyone with it, though. Urgh.
No, unless you pass on your lazy lack of brushing attitude to someone else. On a side note, I once convinced this chick I didn't like that I had gingivitis, and that it was contagious, just so she wouldn't want to kiss me anymore. lol. You just got a 2-4-1 buddy
Gingivitis is the infection and inflammation of the gums. Caused by improper oral hygiene.

It is not contagious, but your bad breath(from the gingivitis) - its called halitosis - might keep people away anyway.

Brush, floss, use mouthwash...and see your dentist regularly.
i don't think so but yet it is a bacteria..........hmmm i'd say no
Yes, it is. Fluid transfers all from one mouth to the next. If you have gingivitis and are being treated, so should be your partner.
Nope. Its an infection but also a weakness. I suffered from this as a child yet I always cleaned my teeth.. A good remedy is to buy hydrogen peroxide from the chemist and read the label for the mix as a mouthwash. It works so well. If you can't get hydrogen peroxide just have a lot of salt water mouthwashes... Stop worrying.. My teeth and gums are fine now and my cleaning habits haven't changed at all. I think it could be an age thing as I was almost 15 when I got it, but I'm no expert. Just make sure you use a mouthwash.. Go for it!
