Choices in life??
Question: what do you want to be when you are older or what do you do now?
Answers: Well i am a sad case, and i don't mean to be. I always wanted to be a Vet and i worked like mad and got in. 2 years later i was in a car crash and hurt my spine, Now i can't work at all, so really i do nothing now
Well, as I am 40, my plan is to become a pensioner later in life
well, I am older, and I want a change! I am going to finish my nursing PhD then go run my friends florist shop for a year
I want to be happy...right now I am just confused!
I used to be a psychiatric nurse, then I had a baby, left the nursing profession and am now studying for a degree in criminology and forensic science. I want to be a forensic scientist.
I am a mom and I never thought that is what I would end up doing, but I love it.
I didn't know what i wanted to do when i was little, and to be honest, i still don't know. It's a case of achieve one goal find another, otherwise life becomes stagnant.
I'm older and when I was in school I had to do the subjects and courses my parents chose for me. At the time I wasn't too bothered as my teens were spent mostly trying to survive. My dad was a violent alcoholic who kept pulling a gun on me and threatening me, so I didn't really expect to live to adulthood. In my time I've done secretarial and admin work, I've done kitchen work in Germany, I've cleaned houses, I've run a playgroup and now I work in a library (which is brilliant). I've also done youth work and event organisation. I'm also a professional face-painter.
i am enjoying my life and i want to do that forever
