Eek...what would it be like to kiss with a partial denture????
Question: I have a partial upper denture for a missing front tooth that I'm wearing until I get my implant in about 6months. It's sort of like a retainer with a false tooth. I'm really self conscious about it and I'm afraid to kiss any guys because I think they'd notice. Would they?
Answers: I've had to wear a partial before and it's fine. I had no problems kissing while wearing it.
Not if they really cared about you. I know it is hard to believe but most people are so self conscious about their own flaws that they won't notice yours. I know it's not much comfort and that telling you not to worry will just make you worry more so I will not say that I just say you need to remind yourself that the boys are self conscious too and so are the other girls. Your tooth is like having a run in your stocking, you notice it but nobody else cares.
At least it will go away in a few months and it is not as bad as having a cold sore on the lip. That would be EEeeuuick...

Unless it slips free easily, you'll be fine.
There gonna bee looking in your eyes, not in your mouth when you kiss them! That acually would be kinda hard.

I had retainers, one big difference, You could see and feel my retainers, you can not see that much if any of a partial. You'll do fine, quit worrying.
if your good lookin, dont worry bout it, hell if you were missin 5 teeth no dentures but still looked great that wouldnt stop me, for a second i thought you ment the ones that are removable, i could already picture it... lmfao, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!??! OH MY GOD I TOOK YOUR TEETH OUT!!!!!

THIS REALLY WON'T BE DETECTABLE. PEOPLE KISS WITH THEIR LIPS NOT WITH TEIR TEETH. THE PLASTIC PALATE WHICH HOLDS THE FALSE TOOTH IS UNDETECTABLE WHILE KISSING.
I doubt this guy is dating you because of your teeth. If he does take notice and has a problem with it he is not worth it. Find someone who can look past appearances and love you for who you are.
