How long after??
Question: ok when you have the orthodontist consultation thing....how long after that do you get braces? does he decide? can anyone tell me how long after they got theres? just wondering because i want to know when i'm getting my braces.
Answers: Depends. I got mines about a month after the consultation. The reason being is that they have to do xrays, get approval from ur insurance (if needed), and plus I needed to remove 4 teeth before the braces. Ask him, he'll give u a time. Good luck!
The dentist should tell you
If now is the right time to get them, (for instance, if you
have all your permanent teeth, or if they want to start sooner,)
then you get them as soon as you can schedule it. Depends
on how busy your schedules are. If you're waiting for more
teeth to come in, it could be a while. Good luck!

My son will be getting braces next month. After the consultation the orthedontist told us that it was up to us when we wanted to have them put on. You should probably call your orthadontist and ask when they recommined you get yours.

My orthodontist was ridiculous. I was going through orthodontics for 5 years until I got my braces. But, you probably won't have that problem, because I went to possibly the worst orthodontist on the whole planet.
