What should i do if i lose my selences in my teeth??

Question: okay, i have figured it out
its not a cavity it was a part of my selences that fell out of my teeth, i am scared though that it will turn into a cavity. how do i prevent this? i brush my teeth like obbsessively. i had a very small one or it had a chance of becoming a cavity
the dentist sealed it though so. i am going to the dentist and getting it re-sealed but how can i help prevent from not getting cavities?
Answers: Hello! Ok, so if I am understanding correctly, one of your sealants has fell out. Ok so no big deal. You say you are going back to the dentist soon to get it replaced, so in the meantime just keep those deep groves cleaned by daily brushing. A sealant is only a protective layer to fill in deep grooves on molars in children adn young adults for preventative measures. It will be A-OK until you get back to the dentist! Good Luck
Ask your dentist.
Well, until you go to the dentist, dont eat a lot of candy, or things with a lot of sugar in it. Those kinds of food increase your chance of cavitites. But, you are doing right, because you brushing your teeth. But dont brush them too much. 2-3 times a day is enough. Also, talk to your dentist about what kind of toothpaste, would be the best brand to prevent cavities and other things like plaque, gengivitas, bad breath, and more. I would suggest Colgate Total or Crest Whitening. But to be sure, just talk to your dentist. I hope I helped! And good luck!
IF it is part of your sealant that fallen off, then it depends. If it is part of a filling that has fallen off, then get back to your dentist as soon as possible.

Sealants are put on permant teeth in a child's mouth to protect the tooth from a cavity because children don't brush their teeth very well. If you are an adult, then you shouldn't need sealants. If you brush and floss multiple times a day, then you should be fine.
