2 of my lower wisdom teeth are coming in, the dentist says they are partially impacted??????What do I do????
Question: I have $300, No insurance, does anyone know of a dentist in Kansas who will help me and remove them. The teeth are partally in, but on the xray, there is bone in the way and they will only get infected, They were infected, now they are not, but I was so sick while they were infected, I dont want that to happen again. If anyone has any ideas of a dentist who can help me or somthing, Please help me. Thankyou everyone.
Answers: I personally have never known a general dentist that will extract partially impacted wisdom teeth. They all refer to an oral surgeon. Take out a loan and do what you need to do to get them taken out as soon as possible. Trust me, you don't want them to get infected again because it's going to hurt even worse the next time as it did the last time. I wish you the best of luck.
You should try to get them removed. It could be a major pain in the a** if you don't.
Start saving your money for the extractions. Free or discount dental work is very difficult to come by...especially for something as common as impacted wisdom teeth. You may be able to find a dentist who will accept payments.
try finding a regular dentist that will do extractions. if you go to an oral surgeon (specializes in extractions) you will definitely pay more than a general dentist. the office i work at charges $100 for an extraction. that's really low even for my area. it's in WI so no help there, sorry.
u must have them removed. try calling 1800-dentist
well for one thing dont join the military! besides that getting to a dentist is the wisest course. if however the pain is getting to you (i have had impacted wisdoms so this works) you can take 800 Mg (thats 4 200 MG tablets) of ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. if after an hour you are still in pain you can take up to 3 extra strength tylenol. theres no drug interaction between ibuprofen and acetominophen and if taking 800 MG of ibuprofen was dangerous the entire armed forces would be down right now. also, start taking vitamin C pills (500 MG) once a day. it helps with the bacterial infection.
