Braces.....??
Question: i just got them about 30 mins ago and im trying to eat ramen noodles and it doesnt hurt but it just feels so weird. it makes me not even wanna try to eat. my mouth feels really full and it sucks. how long is it going to feel like this?
Answers: Awe. I had braces for a very long time. You will get used to it, hon. They will hurt sometimes and you may also get tiny cuts in your mouth from them. It's not fun, but it will be worth it. Make sure to keep your teeth brushed and flossed so there is no decay under the spots where the braces are after you get them removed.
You will get used to them pretty soon, it usually takes a couple of weeks to be fully used to them
Give yourself about a week. Took me a week to get used to them.
Not sure how long the feeling will last but I know for my son sticking to mashed potatoes or soup or ice cream worked best for the first couple of days.
GIVE IT ABOUT A WEEK, THATS HOW LONG IT TOOK ME, AND WHEN I FELT NORMAL AGAIN I TOOK A BITE OF A CHEESEBURGER...GOOD LUCK
Usually a few days on up to a week or so. Chewing is good though, but try to stay with the soft stuff cause believe me your gonna feel it tomorrow. Dont be shy about the wax either, it will save you from mouth sores and salt water rinses help! Oh and invest in a waterpik....
