What is a good diet??


Question: help with tips
Answers: a diet which is balanced.containing cereals, pulses, lots of vegs&fruits, and limited amount of sugars & fats,also a egg & fish or chicken.all this shud be included in a day's diet. red meat is not preffered.
a good diet is one where you get all the nutrients your body needs..
try the American Heart Association diet..

lots of veggies, even if you think you don't like something try it another way, lots of water, lots of fiber(like lower carb type pasta and bread products) just don't obsess, and its not really supposed to be a diet. its a lifestyle change,but you can go at it at you're own pace. Good luck.
you could eat 5 meals a day everyday for 25 min but eat healthy and drink water
In very general terms, almost everyone knows what is a good diet. You already know what a bad diet is: McDonald's/fast food every day, packaged food, junk food, etc.

The basics, everyone knows: fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, pasta, etc.

I wouldn't worry too much about the proportions, as long as the basics are there.
I go to www.e-diets.com and find all sorts of neat stuff ei. exercise,awsome ab and butt work outs.I have done some and love them! I would go there.I also signed up so they send me new workout ideas almost every few days and diet tips.

I found one that I really like you eat 5-6 small meals a day and eat every 2-3 hours, that way you are keeping your blood sugar level down wich will make the body a fat burning inferno,cause when you eat big meals it can keep your blood sugar level up for up to 7 hour and you will never burn fat,you will lose about 5 pounds of extra water your body stores and then about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds a week also I throw exercise in with this too got to have that.

What you eat is like some ei. for breakfest egg white omlet with veggies in it a bowel of oat meal and some berries in it or an apple with protein powder, chicken with 1 cup of rice, my favorite cottage cheese and lot's fruit. I cut up kiwi,strawberry's,apples and bannan's and a good scoop of cattage cheese, the other thing is a big salad too,you just pick whatever one you want for the hour.



I put in my salad, sliced meat (turkey) lots of mushrooms,shredded cheese,avocado and anything else, I can find and they say to use vinagar and oil but, I use just plain old ranch and I only use enough to give it flavor mabey 2-3 tiny sqeezes!

I eat the eggs in the morning with a protein shake and then the cottage cheese and fruit and then the salad later I do cheat but, you can have 1 cheat day but, just don't go over board.

So basically,you are having alittle bit of fat and a little bit of protein and carbs so you don't over do it when you eat and calories as well.

I love this diet and I can eat as much fruit and it don't matter!
