What is it that makes you want to overeat. What is the best way to conquer over cravings and stop eating??

Question: many people struggle from overeating, what is it that will stop a person eating when they just cannot seem to stop? Some people just cant seem to stop eating, they feel hungry or something...how can they gain the selfcontrol again?
Answers: you eat..feel good...human nature- find what feel good...usually it is the right thing to do... but nowadays we screw up our reward system and our sense of reality by doing what feels good with no reward... we dwell on the feeling and not its purpose... please note- what feels good is usually what we must do to survive...eat, sex, accomplish goals..etc... but when we focus only on one we lose the good feeling of everything else... eventually the only good feeling we get is from the one thing we do...like eat... so all we want to do is eat because only thing that feel good... like drug addiction... if you see crack addict and read about their story...you find they were normal people... but they screw up they rewward system and the only goood feeling reward is from drugs.. nothing else.but even then, every time use the drug good feeling go down each time...so eventually they have no good feeling at all and are total clueless...

if you realize this early you can change... but the farther you let yourself be obsesseed with food the worse youll be... and soon your food will be tasteless and you have nothing at all...

i recommend you find something else you like and stick with it... you can even try running... at first youll hate it but eventually youll learn to do it right...and ask anyone it has the feeling of a drug but none of the bad things of a drug... you can only get better by running... it will makes everything more intense and heighten your senses... youll have more energy in the day and become smarter and live healthier and longer...

other than running you could try any exercise in general and it will help... just try to find someone to do it with so you can be more motivated...

also you can try occupying your mind from with some kind of hobby... i notice that people who are very involved with what they do will not think about anything bad or any cravings they have... they go into mode and maybe not think o eating or using bathroom all day... but hen they done they do...
The real answer to this question is worth billions! If somebody finds it, Congrats you will be richer than bill gates.!
It's hard, yet it's not hard. The more sugar and uncomplex carbs (chips, white bread, anything processed) you eat, the more you will crave it. So don't eat those! The not hard answer.....you are in COMPLETE control of your actions! The food is not holding a gun to your head saying eat more or i will kill you . Stand up from the food......if you are eating out and keep nibbling on whatever is sitting in front of you even though you are full...unscrew the pepper shaker top and POUR it on your food! You won't eat it then!!
Drink a lot of water when you feel hungry !!
I've not really had much experience of it although I do tend to eat when I'm bored and haven't got anything else to do. I would think that getting an interest in something to alleviate boredom might help and preferably something that gets you out of the house. Also, don't sit around watching telly too much!
I've trained myself to not buy rubbish like crisps and chocolate and biscuits in the supermarket - only stuff that is easy to nibble and doesn't require preparation that I buy is fruit and veg. I trained myself with the thought that I like to feel smug and healthy at the checkout watching my food go through while everyone else buys rubbish!
Cut back on sugar. Not just sweets either. Check your labels and look how much sugar is contained in your product. Too much sugar raises sugar levels and cause hunger and cravings. Lots of carbs contain sugar. So eat your carbs early in the day and then go for fruit and veggies later on. Drink lots of water too. Works for me.
