How does an 11 year old who weighs 98 pounds and 5'4 lose weight???

Answers: For your height, your weight is considered normal to low-normal.

You do not need to lose weight.
That is a good weight for you with your hieght
Simple.....they don't..................HTH : )
Why would you even need to lose weight? Look, I'm fifteen and trying to get back on track after a bout with anorexia. It has been the most painful experience of my life and I'm not fully recovered yet. I'm 5'1 and weigh 83 pounds. I like the idea of being so light, but I know that I'm only endangering my own body by being like this. If you really want to lose a few pounds, like three or four, then cut back on small candies and things like that, nothing major.
That sounds about right but if you feel you have to lose weight go outside and exercise. Ride a bike or shoot basketball. Whatever you do, DON'T diet. Just eat healthy. Dieting is VERY bad , especially for someone as young as you.
They don't and they definately shouldn't. that is too skinny already!
You sound like about the right weight, maybe a little thin.
A better question would be: how do I get as healthy and fit as possible?
The answer is to eat healthy foods, avoid sweets and sugars, get plenty of exercise and the right amount of sleep.
Make it your goal to be fit, flexible, strong and resiliant. You can't do that if you lose too much weight.
Look at athletes. Their bodies are marvelous machines - strong, supple, powerful, responsive. On the other hand, people who are too thin look unhealthy and fragile.
Be healthy! Best wishes, dear.
