Preventing DOMS??
Question: What are some methods of preventing delayed-onset muscle soreness when you're training with weights?
Answers: It doesn't really matter how much you stretch, if you have an intense workout you will be sore. If you're fairly consistent with your workouts and don't go crazy supersetting after a layoff, you certainly will avoid the highest degrees of DOMS. Always ensure you go light and avoid all isolation exercises after a layoff as well.
If you stick to weight training, it's impossible to avoid it forever. It's actually a good thing for the most part meaning the muscle has been worked thoroughly. Epson salts baths can help alleviate symptoms of DOMS, but it won't perform miracles.
stretching before after and during wt training, keeping hydrated, not lifting too heavy...good luck
idk
