How do you use laxatives to lose weight??
Question: anyone ever done that? is it painful? what kind did you use?
Answers: Very very dangerous..Don't do this
My sister has done it. It's not painful. She used Metamucil.
How do you use laxatives to lose weight? You poop alot more, which causes you to lose weight from poop.
You don't lose alot of weight doing it, it primarily helps when your constipated. The only way it really helps you lose weight is if you take alot, but that'll poison you.
Don’t be lazy!
You can seriously hurt yourself doing this. The laxatives also cause your body to loose precious electrolytes that it needs to survive. Without these you can cause a stroke, heart complications, and even death in some situations. You should definatley not do this.
Yikes, not a good idea. Use just good ole back to basics eating...you can eat foods that help you to eliminate just as well as laxatives AND give you the nutrients your body need to be slim AND Healthy...try eating high fiber foods like Bran or Prunes ... don;t use laxatives unless you need them because you are constipated...that's the only digestive system you are gonna get and if you screw it up now...you will most definitely pay later.
You should not do that,it can cause many many problems one of which is a dramatic drop in potassium which can cause your heart to literally shut down.
most laxatives contain high amounts of fiber (i.e. Metamucil), which make...um...well, they make you go poo more often. Poo is matter & has weight, therefore with less poo in your system, you weigh less. getting adequate fiber, both soluable & non-soluable, is incredibly important to any weight loss or fitness/health regimine, but basing a weight loss program solely on the use of laxatives is incredibly dangerous. don't do it. that's about as smart as starting a coke habit to control your appetite...
It's a rather dangerous method of weight loss. Laxatives basically dehydrate you, so all you would lose is water weight.
DON'T DO IT! Not only is it gross and will have you on the toliet for hours on end, you risk the following:
- Dehydrating yourself
- Losing vital vitamins and minerals
- Making yourself severely ill
If you need to lose weight, go on a diet and work out. Laxatives are dangerous and addictive!!!
using laxative cause intestine to be lazy and don't work normally so using laxative may cause losing weight at first but after a while it lead to constipation
YOU DON'T!!!!! That is called bulimia, an eating disorder. Besides the fact that overuse of laxatives will damage the system, and then you will not be able to go to the bathroom without them. The best way to lose weight is to change your diet and exercise. Minimum 25 minutes of aerobics at least 3x a week and some type of resistance training like weights, calisthenics, pilates etc. Also stretching is great and makes the muscles more resilient. go to calorieking.com, they have some useful information on caloric intake.
you don't... it can start an addiction to the stuff u are taking.... see ur local doctor (GP) and ask him/her for a dietry plan... the best thing u can do is just watch what u eat... but to take laxatives to lose weight can 1) dehydrate u, 2) be very uncomfortable 3) make u lose more weight than u want and can also harm ur digestive tract... also check up on ur bone mass and height/weight so as u know how much weight to lose.. also try and gain a bit of muscle as u lose weight aswell then u will feel better about urself....
Hope this helps
God bless
actually i just got done doing a four month colon cleanse and it helpped me out tremendously. Not that i was overweight or anything but it help clean out my intestines and my gut, in the end my digestive system works alot better overall.I reccomend eating alot of yogurt during laxative usage to replace the healthy bacteria in your gut.Start by cleaning up your diet for two weeks, organic salads, fruits and lean meats only, lots of purified water helps also. Then i would say use a product called OXYPOWDER,this stuff makes all of the solids in your digestive tract into water and this will clean out your system like no other.Do a week cleanse then the maintainence for about a month to see how your body responds to it- i did it for the duration of my cleanse and i no longer use it anymore. This stuff will clean you out and make you feel as if your guts are completly empty!

the people here are talking about a different kind of laxative, there is a certain type of laxative that aggitates and makes the colon muscles contract- so it forces you to poop. Those ones can become habit forming because of that action, oxypowder has ingredients in them that liquify your poop by breaking down the matter and making the poop itself easy to rid of through the body.Do your own research to make a desicion, i did for about six months before i did my first cleanse.
*LOL
i said poop...
(:
Cleansing your colon is good for your body. Using laxatives to lose weight isn't. Go to www.healthline.cc and look up a product called clease blend.
