What is a "jogging sauna"??

Question: They are advertised along with apartments, flats, and other rentals in Finland.
Answers: Sauna is a very common thing in Finland. Jogging sauna is a weird translation of a common finnish expression, meaning a sauna that you go to after jogging or doing other sports. Usually all flats have either sauna in the flat or a common sauna in the cellar to all the buildings residents. Usually this common sauna is only switched on at the weekends and people book personal shifts to use it. Jogging sauna however is on during the week (sometimes on very early mornings so that one can take a jog and enjoy sauna before work) and shifts are not usually booked. When personal shifts aren't booked, they arrange times for women and men separately or have own saunas for both.In other words you may meet the other residents of your building in the sauna-it is not booked only for you.
Hope this helps...
