I am trying to lose weight am fine during the day I eat well but when night comes i"ll eat everything what Ido?
Answers: I feel your pain because although I am fairly fit, I go through the same battle myself. The first thing you have to ask yourself is why are you eating at night? Are you physically hungry? If you are, then you should be consuming more calories spread out throughout the day.
There are also three specific foods you can eat at night that are not only healthy for you, but will help in a variety of ways. You can drink a protein shake - preferably casein protein, have a serving of low-fat cottage cheese, or have an essential fatty acid supplement (I use Udo's Choice Oil).
You should also be drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day as this will help keep hunger pains at bay. Which reminds me, you could also drink 8-16 ounces of water at night. If you're not getting enough water, thirst can actually trigger hunger pains so drink water first before turning to food at night.
If it's not a physical issue, then it's obviously an emotional eating problem or you're just eating out of habit. These are much harder problems to overcome. You need to ask yourself, why am I eating right now? Am I bored? Am I just eating because I simply want to eat?
I posted an entry on my blog over the weekend that might help you overcome this eating problem you're having. It's called the desire card and forces you to really think about why you're eating. I've provided the link to the blog entry for more information. Good luck to you!
