How do I stop feeling hungry when I am dieting??

Answers: You say dieting - are you following a healthy nutritional diet? If so, you won't ever be hungry. Don't merely cut down on your portions and amounts - you need to change the mix of what you eat. Complex carbs (brown rice, green vegetables) should comprise a good part of your healthy diet, and you can eat these in quantity without gaining weight, so you're not hungry.

Other suggestions... Don't eat just 3 meals each day - eat 6 SMALL meals per day, just like eating tapas (Spanish mini-dishes - do you know these?). And one more - EXERCISE actually controls your appetite, as well as your caloric allocation, so DO IT.

Good luck!
Exercise.
Mostly by keeping your blood sugars downa and drink. The blood sugars are kept down by not eating things with cncentrated carbohydrates, like too much sugar........ Also, eat more but smaller meals.
stock on the RAW carbs. wheat bread and the like. those foods will keep you feeling full. drink plenty of water too(follow the 8 glasses per day).
never ever eat any pastry or anything that has simple carbs. simple carbs are easy to digest, that's why you get hungry easily.
get yourself ocupied, its hard if your world evolves around food, like when your sad, bored etc etc im still struggling
after my first week of dieting i found that i didn't really feel that hungry anymore. all i did was eat less and drink lots and lots of water. The first week sucks because your stomach is shrinking and you feel hungry all the time.I also take a diet supplement called slimquick and let me tell you it gives you energy to exercise and it's safe for you.I've lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks!!!!

good luck!
stick to it!
I've tried Hoodia, it helps a little to ward off hunger. It's no miracle drug, but I would recomend it. Just make sure you buy a reputable brand, like Source Naturals or Flora from a health food store. Hoodia plant is hard to get, and a lot of companies have been lying about the amount they are filling their capsules with...
eat some huge sugar free fruit and vegetable such as cabbage, cucumber, lettuce ...
Keep busy. That's what works for me.
try to eat fruits and vegetables and don eat beetween meals
it sounds silly but chew your food for a really long time. it tricks your brain into thinking you've eaten more than you have. try it i promise it will work. otherwise drink water.
I think sometimes it is in your mind. also you might want to make sure you are eating enough when you are dieting.
I eat carrots and chew them for a looooong time.
