Excersizing habits..??

Question: So once you start excersizing, do you lose weight automatically? Or is it a slower process, that with time, you'll begin to lose more and more weight, but your body just needs to get used to it?
Answers: Don't target losing more than about 2 lbs per week. If you try to lose faster, your body will go into starvation mode and get very stingy about burning calories while at the same time very efficient about storing any calories that you do provide. And it will make you feel awful.

The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the moderate fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode.

Another overlooked way to burn fat is by lifting weights. Skeletal muscle has very high caloric needs... almost twice that of adipose (fat) tissue. Put on a little muscle and you will burn calories all day even at rest. Be aware that skeletal muscle weighs more, so with this approach you may see your weight increasing while your body fat is melting away. Not realizing this often stresses folks who think they should be losing weight as a measure of fitness. Forget the scale, look in the mirror and you will be happy.

it takes me about a month before I notice anything major
its takes a week or so for anything to show. also depends on frequency and intensity of workouts.
It's a slow process once you lose that initial jumpstart weight...
Actually you should loose more wieht quicker in the beginning and as you continue, your weight loss will slow down.
You might lose some right away, and then stabilize as you start to build some muscle. Then more fat less will occur, but your weight might stay the same.
Its a slow processes. You have probable heard this before but you didn't gain weight overnight so you won't lose it overnight. It's just an overall lifestyle change about making healthy choices everyday.
Depends on the person. I personally go up and down in weight. It has always fluctuated. When I feel I want to lose I start exercising and I can see it within a few days. I also switched to sweet n low and gave up sugar. I did a mixture of 1/ sugar 1/2 sweet n low for about 3 months and then completely switched. More energy. Less fat!

Good Luck!

yes, you lose weight automatically... it will shock your body. within 3 days you will lose 2-3 pounds. but then you will plateau.... then you will lose another couple pounds after a week. don't get discouraged... it will all come off. in fact its better when it happens over a longer period of time.
depends on
1) how overweight you are: the heavier you are, the more weight you will lose initially.
2)how often you exercise: 3 to 4 times per week is best.
3) how intense youre exercise activity is: the more intense it is and the more body parts and movements involved, the faster you will lose weight.
4) what youre eating habits are: if you combine your exercise regime with a diet that is low in sugar, saturated and trans fats, and refined, starchy carbs, then you will notice results quicker.

its best to have an exercise program that combines alternating days of cardio activity (cycling, tennis, jogging, skiing, rowing, rollerblading, etc.) with days of weight-training and resistance/isometric activity (weight-lifting, yoga, tai chi)

most people experience an initial period of rapid weight loss followed by a plateauing effect where the weight loss becomes slow but steady. if you stop losing, then you need to increase the intensity of your exercise and to vary your program because your body can become accustomed to repetitive motions.

you dont neccessarily have to diet, but eliminating or greatly reducing intake of junk/fast food will definitely get you faster results.
