Any weightwatchers out there??
Question: Have you managed it alone or do you need the meetings?
I can't do it alone even though I know what I need to do and am thinking of going back but am really disapointed in myself!

Meetings are a must for me. I need the accountability of having to face the scale and the group.

my mum lost 1stone in 2 weeks and she dose it alone you just need to have will power
I did Weight Watchers at work for 12 weeks and then it stopped because it was pre-paid through my work. Since I had all the materials and knowledge I thought I could do it on my own and in eight months I gained back all the 20 lbs lost in 12 weeks. I just recently signed up for the monthly pass ($40/month) and I get to go to as many meetings I want and I get free e-tools on WeightWatchers.com. Meetings truly make a difference! Good Luck!
I know what you mean. I'm VERY dissapointed in myself for falling off as well. I want to wear a bikinis this summer. I'd like to lose 33 lbs!!! It is so successful when you work the plan. Do you live in NYC? If you are not a stalker/killer we could buddy up and motivate each other to work the plan and attend the meetings.
I think the meetings play an important part of it. I tried on my own first and I wasn't been honest and I didn't loose. However once I joined and went to the meetings every week it kept me from doing the wrong thing because I knew I had to get weigh in. I joined in March got lifetime in october and lost 50 pounds. Even after lifetime you should consider continue going because I didn't and gained a couple of pounds. But once I realized it I went back. Good thing when u are lifetime u are free, don't have to pay for the meetings unless u are over 2 pounds of your goal. The program works if u follow it. But going to the meetings, making new friends in my same situation, and learning from the leader but a big plus for me. HTH
listen you've conqured the first the step don't stop now keep going think what you want to be all i can say is keep at it and you will good about yourself in 8 months keep going go on girl
why are you disappointed there are so many people out there that know what to do and can't do it on there own. You should feel proud that you are taking the necessary steps to lead a healthier lifestyle. I think that is a smart thing to do.
We often say that we will try again tomorrow when we get disappointed in ourselves. We actual try again right now, the next meal. Don't be hard on yourself. It seems like when we get in this funk , it actually feeds the problem.
For me, it is difficult to put that money out each week or month to join a weightwatcher program. How about enlisting friends at work and have a weekly weigh in...kinda like a biggest loser contest. We did this at my work. We all selected the person we trusted most to weigh us. Good luck from a fellow weight watcher.

it became a lil 2 competitive 4 me.
that was over 10 years ago & i have never put the weight back on.
it's all 2 do with changing ur eating habits & thinking responsibly.
giving in 1 day shouldn't mean u have 2 give up.
just take each day as it comes & keep ur aim in mind at all times.
i found that easier 2 do without people breathing down my neck.
but we're all different.
try it on ur own 4 a while & c how it goes.

Well based on what i know its best you keep your weight at a minimal level,by excercising often drink lot of fluids and keep a healthy diets,also cut off the junk food these stuff will kill you.You can do it alone...... tell your self that you can do this with christ you can do anything and also dont be disappointed in yourself because your special....everyone is special includings you.
Best thing i did was stop alcohol!
