Will eating one egg a day wreck your cholestrol??
Question: I'm trying to lose weight, and I read that eating an egg in the morning help curb your appetite. Will eating one egg a day wreck your cholestrol levels?
Answers: The American Medical Association has actually said that eating one egg a day can be very healthy for you. However, if you are prone to high cholesterol, eating one egg a day may not be for you. You should always consult with your primary care physician before starting any diet regimen.
i dont think so, but ask ur doc for sure esp if u have high cholestrol to begin with.
no
The reason eggs are good for you is they contain all of the necessary nutrients..especially in fats...you need. You can't lay off fats...but you can have in moderation. I think eating it EVERYDAY with other meats and such...can be hazardous to you...your cholesterol level will DEFINITELY go up. So...just eat once in a while...and if you decide to eat it that day, try not to eat so many fats cause one egg has PLENTY to begin with.
cook two eggs instead and throw yolk away - or only eat yolk every other day
The Egg Yolks are the bad part of the egg, I don't think an egg a day is going to raise your cholesterol level all that much, just don't have more than 1 or 2 a day. Oatmeal is a good alternative as well, and that is an excellent source of nutrition.
No, you should be okay.
well actually an egg a day is good for u just as long as u dont eat more than one!
Typically no. But some people do have a genetic predisposition to elevated cholesterol and even 1 egg per day is harmful to their health. You need to consult with your Physician to assess your current levels and go from there.
NOPE
today it is good, tomarrow its going to be bad. It is all a fad.
Probably not. Eggs are an excellent of source of protein and many other vitamins and minerals. One a day should not wreck your diet.

no, it depends on how you make the egg.... hard boiled is probly the highest in cholestrol...
no, some studies reveal that the yellow isn't as bad for you as once believed.
no but you shouldnt eat the yellow part
actually eggs are good for your cholesterol but dont eat the yolks hard. The good cholesterol comes from a soft yolk. The minute you harden it it turns it to a bad cholesterol. One day a week is fine. (Try sunny side up eggs or soft boiled eggs.) good luck.
I seriously doubt it will be harmful to you unless you have a problem with cholesterol to begin with. It is a question best asked of your doctor.
Eating an egg a day should not be a problem if you don't have high cholesterol, but the egg is very good if you work out because it is high protein
Unfortunalty, eggs have a ton of cholesterol. In fact, mine have over 65% of the daily needs. But no, eating one egg a day shouldnt be bad. Try eating one every other day.
